ABOUT ME

I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, during a time when powerful musical movements were emerging. The 90s shaped me — it was a decade of transformation, where genres like trance and reggaeton were just beginning to evolve.

I grew up chasing sound. I used to skip classes on Fridays just to go to discos early in the afternoon with my friends. There was this place called Temptation in El Prado, surrounded by mango trees — it felt surreal, like stepping into another dimension. That's where I connected deeply with music for the first time.

Later on, I knew I had to move and explore. I've always been drawn to jazz, rock, and funk — those sounds lived in my head constantly. I spent hours discovering music, absorbing different genres, going to live sessions, and learning from everything around me.

I'm self-taught. My journey has been driven by instinct, curiosity, and the need to express something real.

My first track, Espacio Vacío, came out in 1997. Back then, my music reflected a more introspective and uncertain phase of my life. I knew what I wanted, but not how to get there — and that pushed me to explore cultures, cities, and collaborations.

ABOUT MY MUSIC

My sound lives between contrasts. I blend Latin roots with urban structures, psychedelic textures, and experimental elements. There's a strong influence from the 70s and 90s — funk, jazz, early electronic music — all reinterpreted through a modern lens.

I like to create something that feels both nostalgic and new. My music is immersive, sometimes abstract, sometimes raw — but always intentional.

It's not about fitting into a genre, it's about building a sonic experience that people can feel and interpret in their own way. Every track is part of a bigger exploration — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
